Care Guide

Good bedding and bath should feel this good for years. Here is how to keep every Truenova piece soft, fresh and looking its best. Always check the care label on your product too.

Towels and Bath Mats

  • Wash your new towels 2 to 3 times before first use. This opens up the cotton loops, boosts absorbency and releases loose fibres.
  • Wash cold or warm, up to 40°C (104°F), with a mild, colour-safe detergent.
  • Wash dark colours separately for the first few washes.
  • Skip fabric softener and bleach. Softener coats the cotton and makes towels less absorbent.
  • Tumble dry on low and give each towel a shake before and after.
  • A little lint in the first few washes is normal for new cotton terry. It settles quickly.

Sheets

  • Machine wash cold or warm on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent.
  • Skip bleach and fabric softener.
  • Tumble dry low and remove promptly to keep wrinkles down.

Comforters

  • Machine wash one comforter per load on a gentle cycle. Use cold water for Frost.
  • Tumble dry on low or air dry away from direct sunlight.
  • A duvet cover keeps your comforter fresh for longer between washes.

Mattress Topper

  • Spot clean between washes.
  • See the care label on your topper for full washing instructions.

Pillows

  • Lune and Haven: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low.
  • Orbit: unzip the cover, machine wash it cold and tumble dry low. Spot clean the foam core only. Never put the foam in the washing machine.

Robes

  • Solace: wash cold or warm (max 40°C) with a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener and tumble dry on low.
  • Breeze muslin: machine wash cold. Do not tumble dry. No ironing or fabric softener.

Blankets, Wraps and Throws

  • Breeze muslin blanket: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. Skip fabric softener and ironing. Tumble drying can shrink the fabric.
  • Billow: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low.
  • Aura and Muse fleece: machine wash cold and tumble dry on low. No fabric softener, no ironing.
